Andrea Vázquez Ingelmo presented her research at CISTI 2024, the 19th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies, held from June 25 to 28, 2024, at the University of Salamanca, Spain. Her paper, titled “From Instruction to Assessment: A GenAI-Enhanced Workflow for Transforming Instructional Open Educational Resources into Learning Activities”, focuses on the integration of generative AI technologies to enhance the accessibility and usability of Open Educational Resources (OERs).
The work addresses the challenges of decentralized distribution and format diversity of OERs, proposing a systematic method using generative AI to create personalized, dynamic learning paths in the context of the ENCORE project. These paths are designed to improve user engagement and learning outcomes by transforming OERs into interactive educational activities tailored to individual needs.
This research aligns with broader trends in leveraging AI to improve educational methodologies and increase resource accessibility for a wide range of learners, particularly in open and distance learning environments.
